circa 1975, 28in. nitro chopperlump barrels with 9mm solid raised matt top-ribs, gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, three-piece fore-ends with wooden side fillets, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, quadruple-grip actions with side-bolsters, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties, hand-detachable lockplates with concealed flush release levers, gold-washed internals, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, articulated front triggers, bold Germanic scroll and floral engraving, the sidelocks carved in relief with game scenes of duck and pheasant, the triggerplates signed 'Placido', bright and blued finish, 15 1/8in. figured pistolgrip stocks including 5/8in. recoil pads, weight 7lb. 13oz.
