for 1934, 25in. nitro barrel engraved 'JOHN RIGBY & CO. 43 SACKVILLE ST. LONDON' in gothic script, block mounted open sights with two folding leaf sights (unmarked, no v-slots), ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the receiver (with thumb cutout) mounted with a Swarovski-Optik Habicht 4 telescopic sight, serial no. 421962, on a quickly-detachable side rail mount, receiver ring engraved 'RIGBY .275 HIGH VELOCITY' and with Rigby serial number 5671 over Mauser no. 1163, bolt with PH flag safety, detachable floorplate with military style release, 15in. semi-pistolgrip stock including ribbed steel heelplate, weight 7lb. 13oz. (unscoped) and 9lb. (with scope), in its full length brass-cornered canvas and leather case, the interior and case labels in clean condition, containing a hand-inked serial numbered bone spare sight pot, a leather cleaning-head wallet marked '.275', a nickel-plated cleaning funnel, original Rigby 'Best Rangoon Oil' and 'Special Cleaning Fluid for use after smokeless powders' tins and a contemporary 'Blue seal package' Size No.1 jar of Vaseline, leather muzzle cap and a cleaning rod
