for 1933, 26 1/2in. nitro barrels (No.1 reproved in 2001), sunken ribs engraved 'WILLIAM EVANS. 63 PALL MALL. ST. JAMES'S. LONDON.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 choke in both (No.1) and 1/4 and 1/2 choke (No.2), treble-grip actions with removable striker discs, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, bold acanthus scroll engraving, brushed and blued finish, 15 1/4in. figured stocks (slightly cast on for the left shoulder) with engraved steel heel and toe plates, weight 6lb. 8oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
