28in. Whitworth-steel nitro reproved chopperlump barrels, rib gold-inlaid '1' at the breech end, tubes engraved 'JOSEPH LANG & SON. 7, BURY STREET, ST. JAMES'S. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, wall thicknesses well-below recommended minimum, toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, retaining some renewed colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/8in. figured replacement stock, weight 6lb. 3oz.
