circa 1845, with octagonal etched damascus 9 3/4in. barrels, the top flats inlet in silver 'ADAM KUCHENREUTER IN REGENSBURG', the adjacent flats with applied silver scroll-work for approximately half the barrel-length, dove-tailed blade fore-sights, standing notch rear-sights elevating on a screw, deeply scroll engraved hump-back bar-action locks, scroll engraved hammers (one replaced), walnut half-stocks with carved fluted butts, clipped corner silver square escutcheons engraved with a baron's monogram to the wrists, truncated spire iron pommels, spurred trigger-guard bows, set-triggers and scroll carved fore-end tips
