 for 1892, 30in. replacement nitro barrels (in 1989) with post 2000 choke reproof, the rib engraved '2' and 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE. SOUTH AUDLEY ST. LONDON. W.1.', 2 3/4in. chambers, approx. cylinder choke inserts, toplever engraved '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, arrow cocking-indicators, ejectors require attention, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets (some wear), brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 1/4in. figured stock including 1 3/8in. wooden extension, inked in to match, cracks to rear of lockplates, weight 6lb. 11oz., in a lightweight leather case
