26in. lined nitro octagonal barrel (originally in .290 Rook), partially file cut top flat with open sights and two folding leaf sights, bead fore-sight, the breech end dovetailed with telescopic sight rails and mounted with an Ajack telescopic sight, carved teardrop fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, non-selective ejector, fine acanthus scroll engraving, retaining much renewed colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/4in. figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap and steel buttplate, snap fore-end with horn finial, weight 6lb. 8oz.
