A RARE .25 BREAK-BARREL AIR-RIFLE SIGNED BSA, MODEL METEOR SUPER CARBINE / 635 MAGNUM, serial no. AWC1496, with factory 14in. barrel (missing fore-sight), blued finish, air-chamber railed for a telescopic sight and possibly earlier beech half-stock
Other Notes: The serial number suggests that this is a '635 Magnum' air rifle, a variant of the BSA Mercury. The blued finish suggests BSA Supersport, but the cylinder is wider on these rifles, and the example here is marked 'Meteor'. Therefore this is either a special order or a clever home produced amalgam of parts.
