of 1300 produced, with deco style body, exposed strike, the segmented body inset to the front with a white-faced quartz time-piece, the whole mounted on a broad polished foot initialled 'VK', in its makers wood box in turn within a drawered unit, the bottom drawer containing the lighter, the top drawer containing a book titled 'Longitude' by 'Dava Sobel', with instructions and certificate, appearing little used (requires a battery)
