A .41 RIMFIRE VEST-PISTOL WITH LATER DELUXE ENGRAVING, MODEL 'COLT'S No3 THUER PATENT DERRINGER', no visible serial number,
circa 1872, with bright re-blued 2 1/2in. barrel engraved with panels of American scrollwork to both sides, the top of barrel with gilt infilled 'COLT', white metal crescent fore-sight, full American scroll engraved open brass frame, birdshead butt and fitted with ivorine grips
