A CASED COMPOSED PAIR OF .41 (RIMFIRE) COLT NO3 THUER PATENT DERRINGERS, serial no. 10305 / 41302,
circa late 19th century, with 2 1/2in. nickel plated barrels, top engraved ' -COLT-', in large italic font, white-metal fore-sights, nickel plated bronze frames stamped '41 CAL', on the left sides, re-blued sloping hammers and sheathed triggers, plated grip straps, two-piece mother-of-pearl grips concealing the serial numbers, contained in a mahogany storage case with rounded corners and lined with moulded blue velvet
