RIGBY & CO., DUBLIN.' on the matt sighting flat, bead fore-sight, rear-sight of one standing and two folding leaves graduated to 150 yards and each with platinum-inlaid centre-line, scroll engraved case-hardened breech and action, the latter signed 'J. RIGBY & CO.' on the left side, hammer with removable pin, 14 1/2in. well figured walnut stock with chequered grip and fore-end, dark horn fore-end cap, and retaining much original finish throughout, Birmingham black powder proof marks
