the first circa 1911, with blued 16 3/8in. octagonal to round barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, push-button dolls-head barrel locking catch, nickel-plated slanted air-chamber etched 'THE ORIGINAL GEM 'B' QUALITY' over 'MANUF'D IN GERMANY SPECIALLY FOR THE INTRODUCER A. ARBENZ BIRMINGHAM', the legend contained within an etched border with arabesque terminals (strong amount of plating remaining), walnut butt-stock with plated heel-plate and plated cocking link forming the trigger guard, the second of similar date with 18 3/4in. octagonal barrel marked 'GEM' and with a harpoon gun trademark, nickel-plated air-chamber, walnut butt-stock deeply stamped on the right face 'RAMSBOTTOM, 81 MARKET ST, MANCHESTER', plated cocking link forming the trigger guard
