circa mid 18th Century, probably Punjabi, with curved, single-edged watered blade with three narrow fullers on each side, one side with script within each fuller, gold koftgari hilt of typical style, knuckle-guard with Gurmukhi script on the inside, disc with sunburst pommel cap, no scabbard
