circa 1810, with flaring 4 1/2in. barrels expanding from 28-bore to 4-bore at the banded muzzles, plain squared boxlock actions signed on the left side 'WHALEY LYNN' (some bruising to one pistol), central ring-necked cocks (traces of colour) and broad central frizzens, slab-sided oversize walnut grips (blind crack to both) and guarded triggers
