circa 1790, with round laminated 9in. barrel, flat sighting plane with bead fore-sight and standing notch rear-sight, engraved top-tang, borderline engraved bevel-edged lock signed 'J. PROBIN below the pan, swan-necked cock with bolted safe, walnut full-stock with semi slab-sided grip, guarded single set trigger (currently not setting), acorn finial and horn-tipped wood ramrod with worm end
