A PAIR OF 12mm PERCUSSION PAKTONG CONTINENTAL POCKET PISTOLS, UNSIGNED, no visible serial numbers,
circa 1835, probably Belgian, with octagonal paktong 3in. barrels swelling and banded at the muzzles, calibre and 'A.F.' makers mark to underside of breech (probably August Francotte), integral squared borderline and florally engraved actions with central blued hammers and paktong guarded triggers, burr walnut bag-shaped grips and clipped corner vacant rectangular escutcheons to wrists
