A GOOD GERMAN MODEL 1871/84 MAUSER BAYONET BY SOEMMERDA, dated 1887, with 10 in. single-edged blade fullered on each side, ricasso marked 'Soemmerda', blade back with crown over 'W / 87' plus inspection mark, cross-guard regimentally marked '94.R.11.42', riveted wooden grips, pommel with two further inspection marks, with its brown leather scabbard with steel fittings, the locket with matching regimental details, plus brown leather frog
