STEPHEN GRANT & SONS 12-BORE SIDELOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 6019, for 1890, 28in. damascus black powder only barrels, the rib engraved 'STEPHEN GRANT & SONS/ 67A ST. JAMES'S STREET. LONDON.' and '1', the breech-edn engraved 'PATENT EJECTOR', with acanthus scroll detailing, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl., removable striker discs, carved leaf fences, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/8in. figured stock, weight 6lb. 10oz.
