for 1855, with octagonal 7 1/2in. barrel signed 'ADDRESS COL COLT LONDON' on the top flat, with traces of London proof marks and a broad arrow stamp (rubbed), open iron frame marked 'COLT'S PATENT', six shot cylinder with London proof marks (scrubbed of scene), iron trigger-guard and backstrap, smooth flared one piece walnut grip, under barrel loading lever, with all matching serial numbers, the whole re-finished throughout
