dated 1924, 25 1/4in. nitro reproved barrel, block and blade fore-sight with side protectors, receiver fitted with a folding aperture / battle ladder sight and graduated to 1,400 yards, receiver with charger bridge, magazine cut-off, bolt with square No.4 type cocking-piece, manual safety, detachable box magazine, the buttstock collar marked 'G.R. under crown, ENFIELD. 1924. SHT LE.V.', blued finish, full stock, two barrel bands, 13 1/4in. pull including brass buttplate with trapdoor, weight 8lb. 12oz.
