BIRMINGHAM.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, treble-grip action with Scott patent gas check system, patent no. 617 of 1882, use number 5194, the flats marked with Deeley 1884 ejector patent details, no. 14526 of 3rd November 1884, use number 32 and Perkes 1886 ejector patent details, no. 10679 of 20th August 1886, use number 625, small chip to action bar forward of right lockplate, fine acanthus scroll engraving, 14 7/8in. replacement semi-pistolgrip stock, weight 7lb. 5oz.
