circa 1870, with 4in. sighted octagonal barrel, the top flat stamped 'CONNECTICUT ARMS & MANF. CO. NAUBUC CONN', moulded iron receiver, the swing sideways breech with 'PATENTED OCT 25,1864', sheath trigger and two piece chequered gutta-percha grips, traces only of finish remaining
