A 12-BORE SIDEPLATED BOXLOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 215994,
for 1961, 26 5/8in. nitro reproved barrels (in 2026), tapered file-cut rib engraved 'SIMSON, SUHL (THURINGEN)', the tubes engraved 'SPEZIAL-GEWEHRLAUFSTAHL' and with ornate bordering, acanthus scroll detailing and two rings of linked stars at the breech end, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, stepped treble-grip action with side-clips, automatic safety, the action with border and scroll engraving with a scene of partridge in a woodland setting to the underside, the decorative sideplates with woodland and wetland scenes of pheasant, deer and duck, 15in. stock including 1in. recoil pad, sling swivels, weight 7lb.
