circa 1845, with blued 4in. six-shot fully fluted barrel-group, vertical nipples without guard, rounded scroll engraved nickel-silver action signed 'HORTON, SALOP' in a panel on the left and 'IMPROVED REVOLVING PISTOL' on the right, bar-hammer with integral flash-guard and engaging with safety notches on the breech-end, guarded trigger and smooth walnut bag-shaped grips, much finish remaining
