A CASED .450/.455 WILKINSON-WEBLEY MODEL '05 REVOLVER, serial no. 121807/W1302,
circa 1908, with blued 6in. barrel signed 'WILKINSON SWORD CO. PALL MALL LONDON' along the rib, ramp and blade fore-sight, the left side of top-strap signed 'WILKINSON-WEBLEY '05', stirrup barrel latch with drift-adjustable blade, break-open frame with fluted automatic ejecting quick release cylinder (some pitting to leading edge of one chamber), double action mechanism, chequered walnut grips with squared heel, the left grip marked 'W1302' at heel and inlet with an oval white metal escutcheon at head engraved 'R.V.W.', lanyard swivel at heel, much original finish remaining and in its English market leather storage case lined and compartmented in ruby baize, Wilkinson trade label inside lid and including a tray for ammunition, and sundry accessories
