the revolver dated for 1884, with two-stage 4 1/2in. sighted barrel, top-strap with sighting groove, solid frame with field strippable side-plate, stepped unfluted cylinder, double action mechanism, chequered walnut grips and lanyard ring at heel, the original 'in the white' finish dulled and stained, with certificate of proof and complete with a period leather service holster for same
