A 16-BORE PERCUSSION CONTINENTAL DOUBLE-BARRELLED SPORTING GUN, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
Belgian circa 1855, with octagonal blending to round laminated 32in. barrels, slightly raised concave top-rib, borderline engraving to the long top-tang, borderline engraved locks, the bars with deeply chisel engraved framed cartouches, the left depicting a running deer, the left a running leopard, unchequered walnut half-stock (some inlets, probably from manufacture), iron furniture including flat faced trigger guard bow and later brass-tipped ramrod
