early 19th century, with curving 32in. blade (cleaned, fine pitting), broad central blind fuller stopping 5 3/4in. from tip, a slightly narrower fuller running along the back edge transforming into three narrow fullers stopping a similar distance from tip, traces of engraved or etched decoration to the left side, typical cruciform hilt with acorn quillions and strong traces of silver plating, horn pistol-grip hilt with bulbous pommel bored through with a lined and bossed tassel aperture, no scabbard
