circa 1900, 30 1/4in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2026), adjustable ladder rear sight, ramped block and blade fore-sight with curved sight protectors, the nocksform marked 'Special Nickel Steel', and 'T.G.1. T.G.2' and 'T.G.3', receiver with thumb cut-out, fixed charger bridge, the left side engraved 'L.R. TIPPINS & SON. MISTLEY. MANNINGTREE.', the left side fitted with a folding BSA aperture rear sight marked 'PAT. 26943-07. P.PAT 29844-10. P.PAT 30337-10. Rd 575536, the base marked P.Pat. 22619-09, front volley sight, blued finish, three-quarter length stock, 12 3/8in. pull including brass buttplate, weight 9lb. 4oz.
