for 1897, with blued tapering 5 1/2in. barrel signed on the top 'W. EVANS, 63 PALL MALL, ST. JAMES'S LONDON', excellent bore, machined receiver with polished bolt, long extractor, 500 metre rear-sight, blued milled-side frame, cone-hammer, 23-groove walnut grips, integral magazine and lanyard ring at heel, much original finish and colour, together with a period holster-stock (numbered '110', split to short length) fitted with a period leather belt holder
