A .300 (EX-LONG) BSA MARTINI-ACTION RIFLE WITH PARKER HALE 'TARGETSCOPE' TELESCOPIC SIGHT, serial no. 31419,
the rifle circa 1920, with round tapering blued 25in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, vacant dove-tail for rear-sight, the right side of barrel with calibre markings and additionally numbered 'V690953', blued slab-sided receiver featuring the BSA 'Piled Arms' trademark, coin slot take-down screws, the rear of receiver drilled for an additional peep-sight (absent), plain walnut butt-stock and fore-end, replacement heel-plate, colour hardened cocking lever, much original finish throughout, the top of barrel fitted with dove-tailed pad (partially obscuring the maker's details) and mounted with a Parker Hale 'TARGETSCOPE' steel-bodied telescopic sight with fine crosswire reticule and original Parker Hale adjustable mounts
