A RARE WORLD WAR ONE THORNTON-PICKARD MK.III.H CAMERA-GUN IN THE FORM OF A LEWIS MACHINEGUN, serial no. 2729,
circa 1916, with blacked 18 3/4in. 'barrel jacket' housing the camera lens, adjustable pillar fore-sight, ring rear-sight, squared film housing to the centre at 'breech', the rear end with spade-handle grip, pistol grip and cast body marked 'THORNTON-PICKARD ALTRINGHAM' and 'MK.III.H' in raised letters on the right side, the top fitted with a genuine Lewis Gun magazine and with a spigot for a pintel mount below, untested but apparently working order
