circa 1875, with well reblued 28in. Henry rifled barrels, the right tube at breech signed 'MANUFACTURED EXPRESSLY BY T. WOODWARD', the left 'HAMILTON & CO. LONDON & CALCUTTA', machine engraved top-rib with bead fore-sight and standing notch rear-sight with two further folding leaves, each with engraved faces and platinum lines, engraved bands at breech, the underside of barrels with Henry's Patent Use number's '1128' and '1129' respectively, border and scroll engraving, swing under-lever, long top-tang, border and scroll engraved back-action locks signed 'HAMILTON & CO.', rebounding hammers with safety bolts behind, chequered walnut pistol-grip butt-stock, engraved iron heel and toe plates, moulded horn pistol-grip cap, chequered walnut splinter fore-end with push-button release and eyelets for sling
