A .577 (SNIDER) THREE-BAND SNIDER MKII SERVICE RIFLE SIGNED B.S.A CO., serial no. 302,
circa late 1860's, with 36 1/2in. round barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, ordnance and Tower proof stamps, receiver ring stamped 'II', and with Tower proof marks, swing open breech block signed 'B.S.A CO.', on the top-face, plain lock dated and signed '1864 ENFIELD', under government ownership stamp with crown and 'V.R', royal cypher to the tail, walnut full-stock with inspector's cartouche, brass heel-plate, triggerguard and nose-cap, iron barrel bands and jag-tipped cleaning/clearing rod
