A CASED 54-BORE PERCUSSION SELF-COCKING FIVE-SHOT REVOLVER SIGNED PERRINS & SON, WORCESTER, no visible serial number,
similar to a Webley 'Wedge-Frame' (q.v.), circa 1853, with expertly reblued 6in. octagonal barrel, engraved band at muzzle, the top-flat signed 'PERRINS & SON, WORCESTER', borderline engraved top-strap with central engraved panel, standing notch rear-sight, wedge barrel key, scroll engraved frame, colour hardened five-shot cylinder, Webley style trigger and spur-less hammer, chequered walnut grips with shell-carved head, engraved flat pommel-cap and brushed bright Kerr-style rammer mounted to the left side of barrel, the whole expertly restored and refinished to an extremely high standard and in a period oak caseing, relined and compartmented in green baize and complete with a full suite of accessories of similar period
