circa 1740, with 5 1/4in round smooth-bore barrel, breech-block signed 'WILSON', together with London proofs and the makers mark 'RW', long external stepped frizzen-spring, walnut swollen bag-shaped stock, separate tang, silver martial side plate, fancy martial trophy escutcheon and grotesque mask butt cap, trigger-guard safety (some discolouration and bruising to metal-work, safety at fault).
