** MAUSER 6.5X57 BOLT-MAGAZINE SPORTING RIFLE, serial no. 96616, circa 1920, 25 3/4in. nitro reproved replacement barrel (in 2025), with tangent rear sight graduated from 50 to 1000 metres, ramp-mounted bead foresight, receiver (with thumb cutout) tapped for telescopic sight bases, lever type hinged floorplate, figured three-quarter length pistolgrip stock with 14 1/4in. pull, chequered grip and fore-end, cheekpiece, blued steel pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and Mauser horn buttplate, small insert repair to toe, stock with circular escutcheon engraved 'M', weight 7lb. 6oz.
