circa 1795, with slightly swamped octagonal 10in. barrels, the top-flat signed 'LONDON', private proofs, engraved band at breech, solid iron florally engraved tangs (one top-nail replaced), slightly curved bevel edged step-tailed lockplates with border engraving and signed 'J W' over 'RICHARDS' forwards of the hammers, roller frizzens, plain walnut full-stocks (one cracked through and repaired at fore-end, the other cracked at side-nail and beneath lock), bag-shaped grips, brass furniture (one trigger-guard replaced) and replacement ramrods
