SPRINGER'S ERBEN K.u.K KAMMER GEWEHR LIEFERANTEN IN WIEN.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, some pitting, treble-grip action with hidden third bite, side-clips, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, action, furniture and decorative sideplates engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork with ropework borders, the sideplates and underside with the makers name in scrolling banners, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/8in. figured stock including horn buttplate, weight 6lb. 3oz.
