circa 1900, with 30in. blued barrel, full length raised matt sighting rib signed 'I. HOLLIS & SONS, LONDON' towards the breech, blade fore-sight, rear express sight with six matted platinum lined folding leaves, a standing notch and an adjustable ladder calibrated to 1,200 yards, border and scroll engraved action signed 'I. HOLLIS & SONS' on the right side and decorated with a vignette of a lion on the left, well figured pistolgrip stock with chequered grip and fore-end, dark horn fore-end cap, white metal escutcheon, and brass-mounted ebony cleaning rod, older refinish throughout.
