circa 1860, with blued 33in. barrel signed 'GEORGE ARMSTRONG CRADOCK No 221' (partially later gold filled), countersunk muzzle, dove-tailed tunnel fore-sight, long 'Africa' express rear-sight with seven folding leaves, each with central platinum line, a standing notch and a folding ladder, scroll engraved breech-end, top-tang and percussion snail, border and scroll engraved military-style bar-action lock signed 'G. ARMSTRONG', chequered walnut full-stock with exposed muzzle, large borderline and scroll engraved iron patch-box to the right side of butt, iron butt-plate (some surface corrosion), iron trigger-guard bow and chequered pistol-grip tang-spur, two iron barrel-bands and modified iron ramrod
