LONDON', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, scroll-back action incorporating J. Deeley and L.B. Taylor patent hand-detachable locks, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897, use number 545, locks with engine turned finish, detachable floorplate, Westley Richards patent 'One Trigger' selective single trigger (A.E. Lard patent no. 3962 of February 22nd 1899, use number 164), triggerplate mounted selector switch with gold-inlaid 'L' and 'R' detail, plain bright and blued finish, the makers name inlaid in gold, 13 3/4in. figured replacement stock including horn buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and horn finial, weight 6lb. 9oz., in its lightweight leather case
