circa 1850, with 34in. triple-staged browned barrel marked 'DURHAM' on the top-flat, bead fore-sight, turned band at the intersection, low notched rear-sight at breech, colour-hardened scroll engraved breech-block with platinum line and moulded fence (colour faded), scroll engraved top-tang with extension spur, border and acanthus scroll engraved bar-action lock signed 'TEASDALE' (traces of colour), scroll engraved hammer, walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, iron furniture including square-fronted trigger-guard bow, white-metal fore-end tip, plain ramrod thimbles and original ebony ramrod
