27 1/2in. nitro barrels, rib engraved 'THE THAMES VALLEY GUN CO. THE STRAND. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, fences deeply carved in high relief with climbing rose motifs, removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, floral bouquet and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/8in. stock, weight 6lb. 13oz.
