possibly converted from flintlock circa 1856, with rifled 41in. barrel, blade fore-sight part of the brass twin-banded nose-cap, elevating ladder rear-sight, plain lock stamped with a crown over 'POTSDAM' over 'G.J.'? (rubbed), walnut three-quarter stock with raised cheek-piece, brass furniture, iron ramrod and swivels
