A PAIR OF 54-BORE FLINTLOCK BRASS BARRELLED AND BODIED POCKET-PISTOLS, no visible serial number,
circa 1790, with plain round turn-off 2 1/2in. barrels (one frozen), engraved band at the join, squared border engraved boxlock actions with rounded breeches, the sides of the actions signed 'ARCHER' on the left and 'LONDON' on the right, central hammers with sliding safes to the top-tang, slab-sided walnut butts and roll-edged iron trigger-guard bows
