A .450 SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY'S R.I.C. No.1', serial no. 70568,
circa 1880, with blued ovoid 4 1/2in. barrel, nickel fore-sight, the topstrap signed 'ARMY & NAVY CSL' and machined with a sighting groove, ejector rod stored in the cylinder arbour, plain blued cylinder with rear locking notches, solid iron frame marked with the winged bullet Webley trademark and stamped 'WEBLEY'S RIC No1 .450CF' in an oval, coarsely chequered one-piece walnut butt, iron heel-plate and central lanyard ring, much original finish remaining
