28in. sleeved nitro barrels, the tubes engraved with acanthus scroll at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. full choke in both, scroll-back treble-grip action with arcaded fences, toplever gold-inlaid with a crown, automatic side-safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, incorporating Greener's improved ejector patent 2003 of 1881, use number 1617, the action profusely engraved with fine scrollwork interspersed with floral sprays, surrounding vignettes of spaniel flushing mallard, pointer and partridge, the underside with a brace of grouse, the safety engraved with a further feathered specimen, the triggerguard with two pointers, the tang with a skein of fowl, 15in. stock including wooden buttplate, weight 6lb. 14oz.
