A 2 1/2in. GAUGE 'DYAK' COAL-FIRED LIVE STEAM LOCOMOTIVE,
31in. overall and built to the maker's 1935 design, 2-6-0 wheel configuration (all coupled and tender wheels on sprung axles) with two outside cylinders and cab-controlled reversing gear, all firing tools extant, in L.M.S. black goods livery piped in red, complete with its bespoke wooden case
Provenance: LBSC was the nom-de-plume of 'Curly' Lawrence who popularised the 2 1/2in. gauge during the 1930s and made available several plans for modellers building to that scale.
Literature: The locomotive appears complete but is offered without a boiler certificate.
